Manusiawi.id was born from a simple observation: AI speeds up how we write, but often erodes what makes writing feel alive, rhythm, distinct voice, and the warmth of word choice. We built a tool to bring that back.
Why we exist
Every week, millions of pages of text are produced by language models. Most of it is useful, but much of it feels too neat, uniform, flat, and predictable. As a result readers tire faster: articles feel hollow, blogs get abandoned, and business emails lose the personal voice of whoever sent them.
We disagree with both poles. AI-assisted writing doesn't have to sound like a machine, and writers who use AI don't deserve to be punished for using a new tool. What's needed is a bridge: a way to turn stiff drafts into prose that reads like something a person with a clear voice wrote.
That's Manusiawi.id. We polish sentence rhythm, loosen overly parallel structure, and bring back the small irregularities that make writing sound human, without changing your meaning.

Real Bahasa Indonesia
Many humanizers are trained for English and translated halfway. We focus on the nuances of Bahasa Indonesia: collocations, particles, and the rhythms specific to it.
How it works
Our engine combines language models fine-tuned specifically for humanization with a layer of rhythm rules we crafted from thousands of AI/human text pairs. We don't just swap words, we account for burstiness (variation in sentence length) and perplexity (predictability of word choice), two dimensions that decide whether writing reads naturally.
Our goal is simple: produce writing that reads naturally, that keeps your voice, flows well, and feels genuinely written. Not a trick, but sentences that are pleasant to read and that truly connect with the reader.
The team behind it
We're a small team of writers, language researchers, and software engineers based in Jakarta. Some of us have written for media, taught classes, or built SaaS products. What unites us is simple: we all write every day, and we all dislike when writing sounds fake.
