Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• “Service” means the websites, applications, and APIs of Manusiawi.id, including the AI humanizer feature, word counter, and other features we provide.
• “You” means the individual or entity using the Service.
• “Content” means text, files, or other materials that you submit, generate, or receive through the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or have obtained consent from a parent or guardian) and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

3. Account

You can create an account by signing in with Google (OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if any unauthorized use occurs.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
• Use the Service to produce exams, academic assignments, or other works in a manner that violates the rules of the institution having authority over you.
• Attempt to disassemble, reverse engineer, or interfere with the technical integrity of the Service.
• Abuse the API, perform automated scraping, or place excessive load on the system beyond your plan’s quota.
• Resell, lease, or grant access to third parties without our written consent.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all Content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display the Content to you solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are fully responsible for the legality and accuracy of the Content you submit, including ensuring that you have the right to use it.

6. AI Output and Disclaimer

Manusiawi processes text using language models to produce more natural-sounding versions. Outputs are probabilistic and may differ for the same input. We do not guarantee that outputs will meet any particular third-party evaluation criteria, comply with your institution’s policies, or be free of errors. You must review and verify the output before using it.

7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Renewals

7.1 Paid plans

Some features require a paid subscription. The price, quota, and features of each plan are displayed on the pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

7.2 Payments

Payments are processed by Xendit. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms displayed at checkout, including the term, currency, and applicable taxes.

7.3 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel automatic renewal at any time from your account page.

7.4 Refunds

Payments that have been processed are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable regulation or at our discretion upon a written request submitted within 7 days of purchase and provided the quota has not been used.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect other users and the integrity of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time from your account page or by contacting us.

9. Manusiawi Intellectual Property

The Service, including the software, interfaces, logos, marks, and materials we provide, belongs to Manusiawi or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. No rights are transferred to you except as expressly stated in these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with third-party services such as Google (OAuth) and Xendit (payments). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors and interruptions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Manusiawi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Manusiawi harmless from any claim, loss, cost, or liability arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably; failing agreement, the dispute shall be resolved through the competent courts in Jakarta.
